Christian service is an overflow of a heart humbly submitted to and in love with Jesus. It is always a by-product of this submission and never the end goal. If you are new here, we want you to settle in, sit and grow in your relationship with the Lord, and then see where He would have you serve.

We typically encourage newcomers to spend 3–6 months hanging out with us, being taught and fed, before getting involved in service. The goal of this is two-fold:

1. It allows everyone time to get to know each other better as brothers and sisters in the family of God and build solid relationships together.

2. It provides time for you to listen and digest teaching and make sure that you are comfortable with our doctrine, or at least to understand and discuss where any differences may exist. (We always seek the Bible as our ultimate truth, but some things are open to interpretation, and even believers sometimes disagree on the finer points.)

We believe that building relationships and being grounded in teaching are a solid and necessary foundation for doing ministry work within the church. We desire that everyone within the church would be used and serve sacrificially using the unique gifts God has given them. In the meantime, we encourage you to get involved with one of our life groups. We have many to choose from--including groups for Bible study, fellowship, men and women.
